Post iPhone/Smart Phone Holder for your Fiat

Are you tired of searching for that perfect iPhone/Smart Phone holder? I did a DIY project becasue I could not find that perfect holder for my phone. The so call magnetic holders just was not secure enough for me and the clamp CD holders did not seem safe to use for the larger phones out there so here is what I did. You will need a used or new CD Slot Clamp holder for a few of the parts. Then purchase a Quadlock case and the Wall mount holders, 2 per pack is how they sell them. Trust me it will be the last and only phone case and car holder you will ever need. Plus here is a discount link to save you 10% off your order. http://quadlock.refr.cc/R3FHTSG see attached photo to make your own Quadlock CD phone holder.

One very important thing I forget to mention is I used a CD Slot magnetic style holder and just removed the rubber part covering the magnet and the magnet itself that was attached with a single screw.

FWIW I use a magnetic mount (CD slot like yours) with a Nexus 6P with no issues. The CD slot mount is actually the weak point as it slowly works its way out on really bumpy roads. The magnet is rock solid. I've only had to readjust it twice in 10 months so I'm pretty happy.

Always open to new ideas though, what's the phone side of this setup look like?

I just have one of these on my dash between the flashers and the defroster button. If I need to use either button I can push on that side of the phone to activate it.

I was asked once, knowing what I know now about my inlaws, if I would do it all over again. I said "no, I would have married an orphan."

Popsockets. The part for the phone and one clip is like $5. Has held up in several cars through summer and winter and leaves no mark when removed.

On main reason why I like the one I put together is you can swivel the phone to any position to see the screen clearly while using a map program. Plus it's a little higher too easy to reach if necessary. Just glad there are more choices out there after all. Thanks for all the replies.... love this community.

https://www.quadlockcase.com/collect...BoCZfoQAvD_BwEcasequadlock.jpg You need to either purchase the Quad Lock Case or you can get a universal adapter for your current phone case to use their mount
It's avery durable case, I have used Quadlock products on all of my iPhones and have been very please with them. Plus once you have a case adapter or the actual Quadlock case you can then mount the phone on a bicycle, motorcycle, scooter, tripod, wall or ?? they have all different types of mounts available. Check out their website for all their products.
