Lori and I really started collecting Hot Wheels back in March...but there's so many collectors....and it's cut throat, plus it's more fun to go cruising and stop at antique/consignment/thrift stores along the way and look for older stuff. So now we've moved on to older Lesney's/Matchboxes, and Hot Wheels pre 80's (though I still look at new stuff...but nothing really catches my eye. Did just get these 2 off of e-bay. The matchbox rally car I paid less than it cost to ship the thing...and the Lesney 1500 I won for way way way less then others have. Though not "mint"...I prefer the "played with" (as long as they're not all beat up) look because to me they have a story to tell...a history. Now I can't wait for them to get here. Have a bid in on a green 1500, we'll see how that goes. Lesney's are really hard to find in the wild..and a lot of times they're asking way to much (e-bay sold is a great tool when out hunting)
