Hey, I'm an owner! I love driving my Abarth every day, and just wanted to talk about WHERE we drive.

Thanks to the military, I've lived in different places in the US and Germany, so it's been my experience that every region has it's own rules for driving. Right now I'm getting ready to move to Long Island, and I've never lived in New York, so I'm in the middle of seeing how folks drive around here! I'm gonna say it's pro-active driving because aggressive sometimes sounds bad or dangerous. I'm just seeing folks that know where they want to go, and they are not patient with folks that are slowing them down!

I like this kind of driving, because it seems to involve a mandatory honking of your horn if the guy in front of you isn't on the gas by the time the light turns green! That's what I'm talking about, good driving to keep things moving! A lot of drivers do the same in Chicago, so maybe it's a big city thing!

Anyway, no matter what kind of driver you are, I hope you are having fun in your FIAT and staying safe.

Welcome to long island Robert. You are spot-on with the driving behavior. In the metro area someone will always want to go faster than you, does not matter what your speed is. The Abarth will help you point and squirt thru traffic. Watch your 6 oclock in Suffolk County as pacing is the order of the day. On the parkways its Laser and Ka. I like that you see it as a challenge. That's the spirit! Thank you for your service.

A guy at work, right across the hall from my office, also has an Abarth, so I'm going to try and get him into autocross next year.

This weekend I replaced the rear wiper blade, very simple, no tools needed!
Ordered a new set of tires for autocross, Bridgestone RE71R, 215/45/17.
Also, ordered some Vogtland lowering springs, so I'm gearing up for the move to at the new SCCA STH class this year. Since I'll be in a new class, in a new region (for me), I'm not even going to worry about placing or winning, just driving and having fun, meeting more car folks.
