Sorry to hear about someone enthusiastic about a car being so soured because of crappy dealer service. All (except the L) are generally fun and decent little cars, which the quality seems to have improved since the launch. That said, a big part of whats killing the marque is the terrible service network.

Are they any local independent European shops that could service your car?

Troy - I remember you... and your car... well. I followed your build way back. You also had a buddy who had a (white?) Pop and was doing some cool aesthetic mods.

I'm sorry to read you've been going through this garbage. I'm even sorrier to read this appears to be a situation FCAUSA is allowing to happen in order to avoid the headache of finding another dealer willing to take up the FIAT and Alfa Romeo brands in the region. The wound to the community is always more painful when inflicted on one of the faithful.

I trust this nightmare will finally end for you and your car can go to winning awards at shows.

    Hey Troy_Audi0,

I have nothing productive to add to this conversation. I just wanted to pop in to say I am obsessed with your paint job, and am thoroughly impressed with your build quality and attention to detail. That's one hell of a car, it's a shame the experience has been quite nearly ruined for you by poor brand support.

Thank you! I super loved my car and the build was fun, I have had some plans for it and was ahead of the trends and was going to get it redone.. but due to this "Service" I am no longer able to get my car redone.. its driving me mad..

I lost all my sponsors and basically need to start over..
It took years of hard work to get to the point I was at in the car show and industry R&D guy..
I use this to show my work and all that.. all ruin by Fiat Service..

Consumers have a much larger hammer to fight against poor customer service experience; it's call social media. I've seen folks who did VLOGS on YouTube documenting poor vehicle service experiences that have not only garnered a large base viewers in the same or similar situation, but ultimately shamed the manufacturer into taking satisfactory action.

If it were me in your situation, I wouldn't just make some enthusiast discussion board my only stop for ranting. I'd be doing a VLOG, on Facebook, and throwing the dealership/manufacturer publicly under the bus on Yelp. Then I'd back over them a couple more times for good measure.

I'm kinda holding that for a larger leverage...
I have 5000+ on instagram lots of industry ties.. I am nearing the point of no return.. I got another empty promise last week..
But yes that is my next move..
I will film it at the dealership.
