GRM magazine is one of my favorites since they cover a lot of ground about fixing up cars, autocross, track racing, and just about everything that you can do in a car, written by real people that work on cars and have a sense of humor!
The latest issue (October) includes the results from their annual fast car shoot out of one lap at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge. Take it from me, VIR is a fun track, and a great place to visit and drive on track, do go karts, etc. since they also have a spa, lodging, garages to rent, and more.
So anyway, the big shoot out had about 50 cars, mostly dedicated track toys, so in the first place it was amazing that any FIATS were even entered! The Abarth and FIAT 500 were way down the field, around 46th and 47th place or so, but it was great to see them competing.
