    Where is everyone?

Seems like this area of the forum is kinda dead. Are all the X1/9s hiding?

I owned a 1974 X1/9 when they came out in ‘74. When the family got too big I had to sell it. I’ve missed her ever since. I finally decided to get another one and bought the one you see here. I’m pretty excited about it.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...WOW, What A Ride!!

Very nice. Sounds like my story... my first new car purchase was a '74 X...owned it for nearly 6 years and put almost 100k miles on it before selling it because we needed a bigger car. Always regretted the sale, used to dream about that car.

here's my '81... over 200k miles and still running strong!
