Exhaust on the GQ

Is there a way to get the stock exhaust sound on the GQ without swapping the exhaust? I'm having a hell of a time finding an exhaust from a regular Abarth, so I was wondering if I could just take it to a welding shop and have them fabricate something. Would it sound the same? I love the sound of the stock Abarth exhaust, and mine is too quiet.

Are you certain a stock Abarth exhaust will bolt up? Since the GQ has a single exit exhaust, there may not be a mounting point for the passenger side hanger. You might need to look for an aftermarket 500T exhaust as a direct replacement.

If the GQ does have a dual exhaust, then ignore this

As there is no muffler on a stock Abarth, I would think a shop could get something close, depending on how fussy you are. All the shapes, bends, lengths, diameters and even tips come into play so the sound may technically not be identical. If you can't find a used take-off rear exhaust section, did you price the rear section of an Abarth at the dealer? There are salvage yards, too, that may have them.

You can also look at an aftermarket Abarth rear section, too. There are sound clips here on the forum and YouTube.

There are a few people here who are selling their stock abarth exhaust. If you can't find one right now, just wait a month or so.
I was able to score one literally a week after buying my GQ and I got it welded on the next day.

Yeah it's been tough, because I've seen a few posted, but nobody will ship them. I think I've found a guy locally so fingers crossed. Thanks everyone for your advice!!

Totally worth getting. It sounds lovey like a true Abarth. Just did it this past weekend.
