After a quick google search I found something very similar to these on a European car parts site. Apparently SAAB also used them at one point. I double checked the photo to insure "SAAB" doesn't appear anywhere and I didn't see that anywhere, so I ordered a full set of 20 plus a "removal tool" (basically a small clip that grabs the edges) for less than $15 including shipping.

    THANKS!! Great Idea!!

Nice choice of wheels! Let us know how you like the Rikens. I was just checking last night to see if I could order a second set from TireRack (I think they finally cleared them all out). I am really impressed with mine for the price. Only downside is that they are wearing quickly!

We all know how badly our back shelf sags, so I decided to do something about mine...

At Home Depot I bought a four foot piece of 1" Aluminum Right Angle, cut it to length, and screwed my shelf to it using some self tapping screws. I think I will paint them at some point, but didn't have any flat black paint available at the moment. I did, however have some white LED light strips, so I decided to conquer two problems at once. Our trunk light is off to the side, tucked under and not very bright, so I added a light strip to the aluminum strip and wired it right to the trunk light. Super simple, SUPER effective, and less than $20 total cost.

And, how well does it light up the trunk? PRETTY WELL!!!

OH, and when I got to work yesterday morning, I noticed I was at exactly 16,000 miles. And I have loved every mile driven!!

So, today I am driving around with no dash...

I removed my dash so I could take the shiny chrome parts out and paint them gloss black to match the rings around the window buttons, and to prepare for the installation of THIS:

    More photos to come soon...
