Very nice video! I think the wagon version was nixed for US because it would take sales away from the SUV. Great job!
Motortrend have come to essentially the same conclusions as I have.

On the other end of the spectrum is the Alfa. It was the nearly unanimous driver’s favorite, simultaneously a marvelous car to drive fast and still a comfortable commuter. The steering is quick, responsive, and talkative. The chassis responds perfectly to every input while muting every bump. More than any car here, it put the sport in sport sedan without suffering a jarring ride as a trade-off.
This is the type of review I've been hoping for, and what Marchionne was talking about for the years of delay in bringing the Giulia to the US. He has always said it has to be right the first time, and compete and beat the typical BMW/Mercedes cars in the price range. I think he recognized that they had to do everything right to even have a chance, and it's still a tough sell in the US after being gone for so long. I'd have to guess that FCA is more interested in Alfa and Maserati than FIAT in the US market, just my opinion.

Got to test drive the new gullia and it drove like a 4 door sport car. The looks are great, but I thought the touchscreen infotainment was rubbish. Maybe it's good but I didn't get a good presentation. That's my quick impression.

I'm not impressed with the infotainment screen in any car. Even in cars more expensive than the Giulia... It's a trend that I wish would go away. A place to just mount my phone would be more useful.
This is where the 2016 smart ForTwo got it right. Good sounding radio (upgraded 8 speaker JBL system) and bluetooth and USB input. No big screen AND they have a phone cradle with USB so you don't have a long cord all over and no AUX/Cig plug needed. Looks nice and neat and puts the phone in an excellent position.

It is much less an issue turned horizontally so not so much a problem. Plus it stands out far enough to pretty easily get your fingers behind it to change the stations as needed.
Hate they only have volume controls on the wheel. I wish like our Fiats the controls were on front and back but with paddle shifters I suppose that'd introduce problems.
