Calling Abarth Owners with Neu-F Muffler Exhaust Systems

The majority of my commute is on the highway at 75-80 mph (2500-3000 rpm). The Abarth stock exhaust drone is getting to be a little unbearable and I'm thinking of going with the Neu-F muffler exhaust system. I understand that I'm killing the "soul" of the Abarth by removing the snap, krackle and pop exhaust...but I don't care. This is my winter / commuting car. I'm looking for opinions, reviews, etc. on the following set-ups;

- Neu-F axle-back muffler set-up only
- Neu-F axle-back mufller w/ mid pipe set-up
- Neu-F axle-back muffler w/ mid pipe & downpipe set-up

I have the Neu-F axle-back muffler set-up only installed for long drives / commutes. Here are some of my thoughts if you're just looking for them:

- you can still hear the exhaust pop, but it's muffled
- snaps and crackles are gone, start up is still sporty sounding
- the steering wheel shakes less at idle / red lights
- everyday driving sounds like a Yaris when Sports mode is off
- with Sports mode on it sounds like a slightly louder Yaris, this is fine with me because I like the quiet, I would not describe the sound as "sporty"
- my passenger side tip sticks out slightly more than my driver's side, I couldn't get it perfect and neither could 2 other shops, but it's not a deal breaker
- the exhaust is beautiful, but you'll never see it especially if your car is lowered
- I wish there was a cheaper option

Godfather- There are a lot of different exhaust things on the Abarth and what your asking about on youtube.You might look at that if there is not one around you that you can go listen to in person

I've looked on Youtube but it's always difficult to formulate a decision based off of a phone or GoPro microphone. I'm looking for first hand user reviews and opinions.

I don't have any regrets. My only issue is this was the only option for me at a price I was willing to pay. If you want to pump money into an exhaust there are options with electronic controls so you can channel your exhaust into the muffler or straight pipe depending on how you're feeling that day. But I personally wasn't willing to drop $$$$ into something like this.

I purchased the muffler axel back last year and have been very pleased with it. It does indeed remove most of the drone during highway driving. What remains isn't too bad. I find that the exhaust still has some nice Abarth sounds to it but you do lose a good amount of snap n' crackle. I also had some sound deadening rubber panels available and placed them under the hatch floor. I'll most likely change it back to the original axel back when the weather warms up and I can drive with the windows down more often. No regrets here.

Thanks for the response. I've started to look a some dual mode systems such as the Ragazzon Evo cat-backs as well as the Magneti Marelli systems. I do enjoy the aggressive sound of the stock Abarth, but there are definitely times I wish it were quiet. I'm still weighing my options.
