I'm on the East Coast, so we had to wait for a second-hand 500e. The warranty on the 2015 extends battery and powertrain to 8 years, 100k miles. I got my 2015 500e from Carvana.com with 17k miles on it for $9250. My commute is just over 32 miles round trip, and I drive the e like I drove my Abarth (except without all the sound and shifting). 70-80mph on the turnpike for 20 miles per day, then 14 stoplights/signs (7 each way) . I use just over 50% of the charge every day. Plug in overnight to 110v charger, and completely charged the next morning. No troubles so far!

Arrigo Fiat of West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale have trained techs to service Fiat 500e's. I recently purchased a low mileage 2015 and had them perform the recall work without any problems. So far I'm loving this car and getting over 100 miles of range with combined city and highway driving (seldom get over 65 mph due to traffic) here where it is always warm and flat.

I hope in the future the E model will be available here. But the closest dealer for now would be about a full charge away. Time will tell.

That's great to hear. Florida is the perfect place for a 500e.

No, I took it to the same dealer that serviced my Abarth, and they were shocked to see one.

According to Tyler, from Arrigo of West Palm Beach, they have service tech(s) with training to work on Fiat 500e. Last week when I took my car there, I asked if they had seen other electric Fiats, and they responded that they had and they were currently working on another that day. While mine was there they performed both the 2015 and 2016 recalls.

That's great to hear! I'm glad they're making there way to the East Coast and there is support within driving range. It's a great car. I'm loving mine. I just installed the 500 Madness springs and Energy Suspension bump stops today, and it makes the car look and handle more like the Abarth. Looking at some weight shedding options next.

FYI, Arrigo Sawgrass has only 1 Fiat technician, according to George, the Fiat service writer.
