Take someone small and agile for a ride along. Have them reach around back inside, and push lightly on the trim panels, seat backs, hatch liner. Sometimes a push pin is loose, or the seat latches may need adjusting to snug them up. My wife helped me isolate the area of a light dash rattle that sounded like it was coming from a totally different area from my perspective in the drivers seat.
Getting under the car, I would look at axle back clearance over the axle, and that all exhaust hangers are secure.
Here is a shot of the skid plates (center of frame) and tank shielding (left of center-exhaust side of tank).
See if your rear shocks are rubbing on the coil springs. Is there an isolator on the bottom perch?
I think it's a shame more time isn't spent on diagnosing nvh when there is a complaint. There is only a limited number of parts that it can be, so it shouldn't be all that difficult for a shop to isolate the problem.
Keep after it, you will solve it.
I really don't think my dealer would do anything they are set on the idea it's my new springs yet I told them the noise was there before the springs were installed... I am going to try another dealer.

Well my dealer called me back and I spoke with the head service advisor and he asked me to bring it back and he talked to the techs to think out of the box and not think like Fiat taught them to think anything other than stock is bad and voids warranty. So the saga continues and hopefully the techs think out of the box and have a open mind and not blame the lowering springs they installed for the rattle that has been there for around 6-7 months well before the lowering springs were installed. Stay tuned.....
things it could be: bad shocks, bad struts, bad exhaust rubber hangars, loose or missing hardware that holds the skid plates on, bad steering parts, loose or bad body mounts or ????

Latest news just got back from the dealer, one of the techs went for a ride along..... he heard the noise/rattle and said it's possiable it's the right front strut and not the coming from the springs like I said before. parts are being ordered to replace the front right strut. Hopefully that will get rid of the noise/rattle. Tech said there has been a issue with the struts and there is a new designed strut out now and that is what I will be getting....so hopefully next week sometime I will have replaced strut..... thanks for all the support/ advise and a special thanks to Anna at Fiat USA
Fiat-Phil they gonna replace that under warranty? Hope they do for you

I am happy for you, that they have decided to further pursue it. I would offer some assistance in diagnosing if we were local to each other.
Just found this on here today.... so sad since 2013 the issues has been around.....
You would think by now there would be some sort of notice / recall..... 3 years later and no notice to buyers??? at least mine is getting fixed but I would like to see anyone with the problem have it taken care of by their dealer opps lounge I mean... or Studio.... what ever they want to be called... I say dealer... all dealers should let their customers know about this problem.... and not hassle them or put the blame on something else....
