    Rattle Inside some where??

I have had this rattle inside my 15 Abarth on and off now for several months...... now even more so with stiffer springs...

I looked online about rattles in the Abarth for ideas where it might be coming from..... windows? rear hatch door stops, inside the rear hatch behind the hatch cover or card, seats, seat track, drivers seat being too low, rear seat, (mine is out) so I continue to check and low and behold after adjusting the hatch rubber stops, raising the driver seat position, and at being around 45 degrees lowered the passenger side window most of the rattle has stopped...... turns out to have something to do with the Weather Tech wind guards putting the window position a little off caused one of the rattles removing them in the morning and hopefully all the rattles go away.... Hope this helps others on here with annoying rattles.....

I believe there were cases of broken plastic clips that retain the window edging or track, which created a rattle as well. If removing the vent/shade doesn't help, perhaps it is one of those clips gone bad.

Red face Solved the rear hatch rattle

At last NO MORE rattle in the rear hatch. I noticed the lower metal bracket on the bottom inside the hatch opening was slightly bent so the hatch door never could close and lock properly thus the rattle.

See photo for reference, so if you have a rattle in the back that could be the reason... IF yours is bent use a block of wood and a heavy hammer to straighten it out.

Good diagnostic skills there. Glad you got it sorted out.

After a year or two, I found my hood rattling. Twisted the rubber bump stops at the front corners out a fraction of a turn to snug it up.

The door strikers are all adjustable too, if rattles return. Others have solved rattles by bringing them back into alignment.

I spoke too soon, got rid if window rattle, rear hatch rattle now I noticed a deeper sounding rattle under the the car in back...... not too bad but a rattle is a rattle...... off to the dealer tomorrow after all. I read something about people with this issue: There was something on the rear sub-frame catching on the body around the mounting bushes causing a rattle. Anyone with this issue??? or ever hear about this... I know turn up the sound and all rattles go away..... still would like to find out the cause hopefully something simple and easy for the dealer to fix.

You might take a look at your right side tailpipe/exhaust tip hanger. I think there, the inner portion can contact the outer portion of the hanger when the rubber suspension between the metal parts ages or breaks down.

Producing more of a clanking sound, I had hit a badger and knocked a couple rivets out of the fuel tank protection (skid plate) on right side. It would flap and contact the floor pan when going over bumps. Also, check the aluminum shielding under the tank. I think it's fasteners can be tightened to eliminate play.
