I am also a long time X1/9 owner who now owns a new Spider. The new Spider has been great and responded nicely to the mods I have done to her.

The Spider has been great - it's even more intimate inside than the X1/9, but to me it fits like a good running shoe. I've got about 8k miles on it so far with zero issues. Couldn't be happier, so much in fact I've been toying with the thought of selling my X.

My Spider now:

That is still the prettiest X I've ever seen, especially with the interior you've put in it. Did you hang on to your 500 Abarth? IIRC, you, Mike and I were the first of the XWeb crowd to buy those in the Spring of 2012.

The 500 Abarth is still in the family, my son drives it now. He loves it. I still miss it sometimes.
