1979 Spider Wiper Blade Mystery!!

This is my 1st post......I've been told by every supplier and expert that a 1979 Spider uses 15" blades. I bought the car with blades that get stuck at the top of the swing. I called a supplier was assured I needed 15" blades and they get stuck also. I am now going to order 13" blades. Does the 79 model year have a mix of 13" and 15" blades? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't recall what size the wipers were on my '79, but have a couple thoughts

Were the wiper stalks taken off to change the blades? If so, the wiper stalk mount is just a toothed bushing, so it's possible the stalks got moved one or two "teeth" and now the wipers go a bit too far up.

If it's still a problem, you can always go to a smaller blade. I remember fitting two of the same size, though, just not what that size was. Sorry!

FIAT 124 Spider 2000 and Pininfarina 1979-1985, 131 and X 1/9 all (15 inches).
Earlier models did use 13"
