I say take it in for service. I am experiencing none of the issues you mention with the Navigation System or with Bluetooth / USB / Satellite Audio. BTW, this is the same as the Mazda MX5 system with a Fiat 124 splash screen thrown in at start up.

My only issue is that the trunk boot lights do not come on. When I get the time to do so, I'm going to bring it in for that. I'm sure it is merely a disconnected wire someplace that needs to be plugged in.

have you moved the switch for it from off to auto already?

This is the Lusso! We totally love it.

Pardon the crappy shot, it's been rainy and the pine trees love dropping needles on the cars here (so far, no sap!).

Things I like about the car:
-Great handling, it's supposed to be heavier than the Mazda, I cannot tell. We live on some superb roads here in Western NC and it can push normal fast cars down the road...
-Comfort, the seats are great. Even my wife likes them and she is pretty picky about these things.

Things that Fiat needs to REALLY work on.
-The SatNav/InfoTaintMent system. Egads, I know that FIAT HQ is in the UK now, but did they source the electrics from this "upgrade" through Lucas? The radio plays fine, but the system restarts 12 bagillion times an hour and the GPS/Nav system has never worked. Not a bother as the phone works fine for GPS and such, but I dig playing my own music via Bluetooth/Cable and the non-stop system restarts prohibit enjoyment of the music. The dealer is REALLY responsive with this (Benson in Greer SC, Four thumbs up for them, great folks, the sales manager is Prez of the Fiat club).

Overall one of the best cars I have owned, and I have owned a few. (I'm a former Mercedes Restoration shop owner, I'm a bit into cars).

do you have the satellite radio, it looks like there is a shark fin back there.? is it possible you have a NAV ready car only, i wouldn't think so if you have satellite radio, i thought if you have satellite you also have NAV. Did you check to see if you have the card installed in the SD slot? if there is no card there did they leave it in he card someplace and forget to install it on prep? if you have no card and window sticker does not say "NAV ready" then i would certainly check with the dealer to get that remedied. as far as the rebooting, haven't seen mine do that at all. let us know what the dealer says after they check the radio out.

the light inside the boot/trunk area is the trunk light. the lights mounted on the boot/deck lid are the license plate lights. if you wanted to use them you would need to turn your parking lights on and they should be on..

Now that I know what the "problem" is, I could wire them through the same switch so they come on when I open the deck lid.

while you can you would need to be sure that there is no back feed through from one circuit to another or you will have issues for sure
