    1) Thinking about where/how the re-entry strategy for FIAT went wrong... namely the stand alone studios with a very limited "range" and very little post-purchase support... what is the publishable strategy for Alfa Romeo moving forward? Pairing with FIAT & ABARTH? Pairing with Maserati?

    2) We know the AR SUV is coming very soon after the Giulia arrives. What is the publishable (and realistic) launch for the fourth Alfa Romeo entry? What will that entry be?

    3) Are there any plans to support Alfa Romeo is Motorsport for North America?

    (Edit)

Selling Alfa with FIAT, ABARTH and Jeep works for the brand in Europe. I'd like to see it here.

Building for the US begins end of September and cars on sale in fall.

Unfortunately we talked over lunch and they had to take off to catch a plane so I didn't get a chance to ask this.

    1) But, remembering other conversations, there may be more partnering with Maserati going forward.
    2) I'm afraid that is something all the drink at Sheeran's could never shake out of them!
    3) Alfa back into racing is a good question. I've read that question has been posed to Marchionne before. I think that had to do with Forumula 1 though. Rcing is expensive, so I am going to speculate they are going to concentrate on selling cars first.

Some other info I can share is don't look for a manual trans in the regular Giulia. The staggering costs of certifying the manual trans powertrain, recalibrating stability controls and difficulty in meeting ever tightening emission standards are huge obstacles that the limited sales volume preclude. Bummer.

Also, someone asked about a smaller Giulietta like car here and that isn't likely right now. They are trying to reintroduce people to the the prestige of owning an Alfa Romeo. The other Europeans are going down-market and dumping cars here to make up for the soft European market.
