    Abarth Experience April 22-24 MSR

Anyone going to be down in Houston this weekend for the ADE? My date is the 23rd and I couldn't be more excited! Wife Kid and I are coming into town Friday and leaving out Sunday or Monday. Will be driving the Abarth down there after all (wifes car is in the shop due to Hail Dmg). Maybe we can make a mini meet someplace for dinner!

Lol you and me both! The track is about 30 miles or so south of Houston and seems like it hasn't been to bad there.

    I'll be there Friday. (Tomorrow!!!)

It's gonna be strange driving an Abarth without all my mods though.

I think MSR will be fine. The flooded areas are all in the north of Houston. I'm driving my Abarth down tomorrow and will take some pics of the ABDE as well as check on our damaged race car which is in the race shop there. Come by and say hello. If there is any tracking in your own car our garage will be open for retorquing wheels, airing up tires, etc. see you tomorrow

I don't think they'll let us track our own cars during the event - but I will definitely try to stop by.

Mine is of course the MAD FIAT.

Right, you just drive the Abarths that are provided, not your own.

We just arrived and checked into our hotel in Galveston, a little further away but the wife and kid can enjoy themselves while I have fun

There will only be 12 drivers tomorrow I think. Today there were only 7 of us. Lots of seat time.

There were a couple of puddles.on the autocross course that made things interesting, but the road course was dry. You can push these cars a LOT harder than you think.
