It sounds like it could be a transmission issue or a problem from the car sitting for a while. It's a good idea to have a mechanic check it out.

i like it so far. can't wait to hear the US specs on the engine. interesting that it will be available both manual and auto. i wish they would have added the lights from the Abarth 124 Rally that are located in the sides of the grill area. i like the effect of the three colors on the exterior. interesting that they offer the black hood and normal hood. I am sure some people will be happy that they will have it in blue. i love the wheels.

I agree - it looks great. Love the two tone with the matt black hood & boot (in both red & white versions). Wheels & stance are about perfect as well.

Question: what is that red doohickie in the grille? Does it serve a purpose or is it just a beauty mark, like that mole on Cindy Crawford's face? (Yeah, I was a teenager in the '80's...shaddup).

            Felnus,

No clue, but on a different video I spotted that it had a triangle shape in it, so maybe it lights up when you hit the hazard 4 way flashers? Just a guess.

The red badge on the grille is the 50th Anniversary badge commemorating the original 124. See the Geneva car pics of the front grilles.

The doohikie on the front of the Abarth 124 turns out to be where you can install a tow-hook.
