Here's our desk top collection so far (please excuse the clutter). The 2 white Fiats with the painted roofs are part of my "dash display", the smaller Hot Wheel stays there permanently, and the other one comes out when we're doing car shows along with the rest of the stuff. We got 4 of the barbie ones a couple of years ago when they were on sale for 20 bucks each at x-mas. 1 went to toys for tots, 1 went to our neighbor's grand daughter, and the last 2 went to our "adopted daughter's" twin girls. My wife thought I had lost my mind when she 1st came down stairs after I had got them and saw 4 Barbie Fiats there, until I explained who they were for.
My other 2 "favorites" are the Flintstones and Jetson's ones (had a Scooby Doo one someplace at one time). Also grabbed the James Bond set when it was out in December

Had to get mine off of e-bay, but I got 4 of them for like $5. Spent a half day driving around searching for just one with no luck.

500 madness sells great dicast models, you can get them via ebay.

Actually they have a huge selection of most brands, even Studebaker and Pontiac.

way to display them and keeping them in the packaging increases value for collectors. I'm too old to worry about collector values. I do have a 1978 Matchbox Rs2000 Escort though, fair condition, no box and the value is $23 to $30 so it doesn't take that long
