2016 Ceramic Metallic MX-5 w/ Brembo/BBS
I hear you about the limited diff - but there are aftermarket diffs out there which are quite nice. I have a wavetrack on my GTI and it handles the 400+ hp & torque with aplomb (however I can still spin through 4 gears if I want to and don't modulate my power carefully). The big thing I noticed with the LSD & a superpro anti lift kit (ALK) that I put in was that I could pull through sharp corners at 20 mph greater speed than previously without breaking a sweat. At first I thought "boring" doesn't seem so much different....but then I noticed the (much greater) speed I was pulling through those same corners...live axle can be fun too (with RWD more than FWD) for really hooliganing....but I prefer being able to put my power down - particularly in (out) of the corners...
