You want a manual, you must get the Classica! Fine with me!!! Would love to see any added Specifications as soon as they come out.

Well, if you prod the dealer accordingly.....you can get a Lusso with one, that is what I will be doing.

Doesn't look like the Lusso comes in manual. At least right now...

So the Lusso comes only with the automatic, heated leather seats in a choice of 2 colors, fancy radio, options for Bose and Sirius XM, automatic climate controls, 17 inch wheels and tires, options for Blind Side Monitoring, Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Path Detection, and the Comfort and Safety and Premium option packages. Obviously, the Lusso is the refined, relaxed Italian GT cruiser.

Whereas the Classica is the more basic manual transmission (optional auto for those who can't drive a manual (lots of people here in the USA)), entry level with limited options, 16 inch wheels and tires, cloth seats without heaters, no navigation option, simple manual climate controls, simple radio standard (ok you can option the fancy radio), no LED headlamps, etc. Sounds like the bargain basement low cost entry touring model for those who love to drive a simple direct automobile and enjoy the drive.

I'm definitely the Classica type: put the top down as often as the weather permits and enjoy the drive even if its just around town to do errands. I sure hope that Fiat matches or beats the Mazda Sport pricing to pull those pure love of driving types like me into an affordable purchase!

Heated seats in a drop top is a must. So nice to put the heat and seat warmers on and put the top down on a chilly day and romp around. I can not follow Fiats logic with their options.

No Chris it does not, I will be factory ordering one and going to ensure I get exactly what I want. I will have to wait longer, but a Lusso with manual and the Bronze Matte from the X is what I shall have.

Just remember that "Lusso" means "luxury", so the two types of Spider make total sense.

I'll admit to using the heated seats a time or two in our 4 Volvo C70s since 2004. BUT, I also
fondly remember our 'base' '91 Miata with NO heated seats, manual windows, NO steering assist, NO brake assist, 5-speed, manual vinyl top with plastic rear window...just as basic as basic could be. DW melted the clutch out @ 75K miles, but otherwise, that car was bulletproof !!! 135K miles on it when we traded it in 2001. Life was so simple then!(Of course, our Volvos have had all the various geegaws including auto-sensing pop-up roll bars, cruise, nav, fantastic power top, etc. Guess we've been spoiled!).

    2013 Volvo C70 Caspian Blue
