More locations and dates were offered in the past, but I guarantee that not every single person who wanted to attend the Abarth Experience was able to do so. Some still lived too far away from the closest offering or had scheduling conflicts with the dates offered. As I said, that is understandably upsetting to miss out, but to go so far as to claim that Fiat or Chrysler then owe the buyer something is absurd.

It appears my attempt to be rational and look at both sides of this unfortunate situation without emotional involvement has offended you for some reason. I've said multiple times that it's an understandably upsetting situation, so I have no idea why you are claiming someone doesn't understand why people are upset. Decreasing the number of venues offered for the Abarth Experience doesn't equate to being "treated badly". You make it sound like all new Abarth owners are entitled to have their Abarth Experience whenever they'd like and wherever they'd like even though FCA clearly varies and controls the number of venues and the dates. Placing blame onto FCA when the major issue here is unreasonable expectations on the buyer's part does nothing but make the buyer look like a child throwing a tantrum. If it's understood that the buyer must make arrangements to get to the Abarth Experience if they want to attend, it does not become unreasonable if the distance varies due to varying venues.

As I've said... sure it sucks, but demanding compensation isn't the solution. If someone can't afford to make the trip or it doesn't fit their schedule, that's simply not FCA's fault.

So I'm a little worried that MSR will be washed out this weekend. All the flooding in Houston is pretty bad right now. FCA hasn't informed me that its been canceled yet and I'm holding out hope but its not looking good atm. Also if you are in Houston currently I hope your safe.

Weather forecasts are for it to clear up by Friday, down to a 20% chance of rain. As long as there's no standing water, they generally don't cancel the events.

OK, I'm wearing my "moderator hat now":

This has been a good thread for discussing that there ARE ABARTH EXPERIENCE DATES THIS YEAR, so it has served its purpose.

If you'd like to continue about these fun events, or find out who else is going to the FUTURE events, please start your own separate thread.

I've been concerned that this thread title might make someone think that there were no events this year anyway.

                Here are the upcoming events:

                MSR Houston - Houston, TX 4/22 4/23 4/24

                Daytona International Speedway - Daytona, FL 5/13 5/14 5/15
2013 Rosso Abarth with 68K miles, Koni yellow shocks, Madness springs, Neu-f rear sway bar, EBC Yellowstuff brake pads, DOT4 brake fluid, K&N air filter, autocross 17 inch Ciao Milano wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE71R, daily wheels stock 16 inch Dunlop DZ102. 2017 1st place HS Tidewater Sports Car Club: 2016-2015 1st Place TSCC GS class; 2014-2013: 2nd place in SCCA South Carolina Region G Stock.
