    Voided warranty... catless down pipe.

I no longer will be installing

    1. Any non smog legal intake
    2. Any non catted downpipe.

Customers engine blew and towed to dealership and dealer voided warranty first because had a non legal intake then they noticed the cat back and looked more and saw cat was no longer present.

I'm just putting this out there because customer said it's partly my fault because I installed parts he brought me and that he didn't know it changes warranty or wouldn't pass emissions.

Car lost compression one one cylider.

Understandable policy. Completely not your fault though. Nobody should mod their car without accepting the risks.

That's unfortunate. Does customer expect to be compensated by you?

He had flash tune installed also and I'm glad I didn't upload that portion. I would think any modding guy would know you take off cat it's problems.

People are generally idiots and cannot take responsibility for their own actions, always looking to blame someone else.

Anytime you mod a car you pretty much can toss the warranty out the window, I wouldn't want to warranty something I sold that someone modded either. I get it.

WE have a M O T certificate test every year we own our car 45 by law after you car is over 3 year, a car without a cat would fail, what we used to do was cut out the cat on GTI , ,or Subaru replace with a flexi pipe , when M O T put the cat back on . Changing the wheel size without telling fiat your warranty is voided , ANY MODS ON THE ENGINE THEY DONT DO IS VOID to

I was thinking of getting the V4 but had my doubts for the exact same reason. I'll get the Neuspeed instead now. Tony, I left you a voicemail. Thanks.

    Tony,

Did the dealer detect the flash tune?

I literally told him you brought me parts you are responsible 2 days ago. He then said well dealer said that even if I put stock intake and cat back on they won't warranty new engine since the ecu has been tuned. I told him just say u didn't tune it and he said I did put it to stock because it was in my car and I put it back begore tow truck came. I told him to take it up with your tuner and if yiu want to go on blaming me have your lawyer contact me.

He didn't know about cat x and intake voiding warranty yet knew about putting car back to stock???? I'm not going to involve myself in this ordeal.
