    Fiat 500X Suspension and Chassis

Fiat500USA.com Has Just Posted the Following:

The Fiat 500X is a crossover that drives more like a sports sedan than an SUV. This is due to the use of a sophisticated 4-wheel independent suspension with special tuning and an extremely rigid chassis. The following is a look at the Fiat 500X suspension and chassis.

I test drove a 500X Easy last Wednesday.salesman called me and advised it had just been delivered, just one, no others...
So I took a break and went down immediately. They had not gotten time to detail it.
Exterior Color, Bronze w/clear coat, options where the beats, rear camera, and the help me drive cause I can't focus doohickeys.

I'll start with the exterior, paint was beautiful, I could just imagine nice tinted windows to compliment, standard in Florida IMO.
17" Rims looked good, not to small not to large, and The size I believe contributed to a very Smooth Ride.
Seeing the whole car in its actual size in front of me further convinced me I will be most likely purchasing the Pop Trim w/1.4T-6speed for this car.
For the price range IMO best looking over all, and I have cross shopped everything(Mazda cx3 is due later so I did not get to test drive this one)...
Interior wise was impressive, even with the smaller of the uConnect options.
Materials were much nicer than my relic 2012 Abarth,lol...
This easy did not have leather, but the seat material and overall feel was very nice, possibly even Riunite on Ice nice.
The back up camera was used but only after I verified no one was really back there with my own eyes, the view of the camera and how it is displayed is a great wide view and I can see how it would be very beneficial in a lot of situations...
I turned up the radio once as I looked at the salesman and said, 'I guess I should test this Dre madness out, which was okay for a Factory system...

Now my favorite part, The drive...
even though this is the 2.4 9speedAuto, I still thoroughly enjoyed the city and highway drive.
It was so smooth getting on the highway, quickly glanced down and I was in 8th gear without noticing, again impressed..
Lane changing, and maneuvering while I was on the couple mile stretch on the highway was done with ease, confidence and just sheer smoothness, great job FCA...
Now when I did put it in sport mode and tested it in the city , you could feel the higher winding RPM map kick in, and felt good but like a true engine lover I took it easy and backed off a bit this freshly built piece,I will let the evil dealer drivers do that...

          Gotta run to work...
Ill try to post more of my thoughts later and some pics I snapped...

            Hi mudking,

I was wondering when you got a chance if you could let me know about the paint color that you saw. There are 2 different bronze colors. One is a bronze matte and the other is a bronze clear coat. I believe the bronze matte is an additional $1000. Thanks for your help.

Heres some Pics of the Paint, They did not have time to wash it so it still has some dust on it, but IMO still looked very nice...

And today they received a Matte Bronze AWD lounge, so here are some pics...
Test drive went smooth as the last one.
This time I engaged sport mode and tested the auto stick function, it was um, uneventful, may need more seat time with that set up but seemed pretty slow to respond, also did not turn off ESC...
Can't wait to test the 6speed!

                  Mudking,

Since you have seen both bronze colors which one do you like best. I tried out an easy and when I switched over to sport you could definitely tell a difference between auto and sport...more power...more responsive. Felt like 2 different cars.
