For improved speed around the cones, I would look at brakes, wheels and grip. the wilwoods felt a lot lighters just picking them up next to the stock caliper/rotor combo. The rears weren't as much of a different other than the rotors themselves. But yeah, rotational and/or unsprung weight has made a massive difference in the cars ability to change vectors, as well as soak things up over the road. I am running Advan RSII's at 16lbs/each 7.5" width. I think oz allegritas or RPF-1's in 7" would be even better, based on my experience with the RSII's so far. (I had allegritas before and even the difference between them and the RSII's was notice-able).

if you can play with spring rates in the rear, you might also be better off with stock RTB vs. a big bar at least weight wise. I had to go the other way and augment the 285lb springs in rear with a 30mm bar to get the feel the way i like it for AX. Ideally, I'd be able to source some higher spring rate springs for the rears on the BC racing CO's, but haven't found a spring yet that works there. Swifts up front was another incredible upgrade that i did not anticipate!

EDIT: can you loose the stock enginecover/airbox in that class? that thing weighs a bunch. Or swap to a light battery? My approach will be the same in SMF.. lightweight FTW
The rear wiper delete results in 2.47lbs of weight loss. I didn't find it very beneficial.

I had no choice but to delete my rear wiper and motor. I turned it on one day and it wouldn't shut off.

I am knocking on wood but so far that has been the only thing that has gone south on my 2017 model year. Supposedly the relay is in the motor itself so it would have been an easy repair and probably covered under warranty. But I was happy to ditch it all. I never found it to be a necessity.
