      this is turning out to be a very useful thread to me. still have mixed feelings on going to the single front mount, but not opposed to it either. guess if I had someone local to help me make the switch, might gravitate to that camp. I definitely see more pluses than minuses.

        The stock intercooler looks to be damaged and didn't break on its own. I 'm not advocating that the stock coolers are the greatest thing since sliced bread but to me the performance return of a street car with a fmic is not at all inline with the cost of one. I particularly don't need a $700 possum smasher.

          It's really not that hard of an install if you have a buddy to assist you. The hardest part was drilling through the front bumper, but with the right industrial grade bit it should be a lot easier.
