Nice video ; thought I heard a little more turbo whine and whistle coming through with the K&N. Was that the BOV I heard as well? Thanks.

thank you, ya the turbo wine is way more pronounced and thats just the stock bov. i was really surprised at how much you can hear it now just changing to the open filter. also during normal driving you can tell the turbo spools quicker and easier but when i watch the insta economy its like 1-2 mpgs better than before. also i only removed the top half of the stock air box so the normal air feed still feeds to the bottum half right where my k&n is sitting

ya for $35 i couldnt be happier and hearing the PSTtttt makes it so much funner to drive. i measured the diameter of the stock inlet so you wanna get an air filter with an inlet diameter of 2.75" the one i got is a K&N part number RU-1460 but i was looking at alot of thers too even the green filter ones but this one was the best deal and had prime shipping. i kinda wish i had got a bigger filter but this one works great.

I installed the same filter and I agree with peerless1. the acceleration seems more seemless and a bit healthier. I didn't hear the BOV but I'm old and don't hear a lot of things. Sometimes that's a +

putting this in probably wont give you the same sound as it will be enclosed in the airbox. but you would probably get an improvement over stock since they can flow more air than a paper filter. so it really depends on what you want.
