I do believe, your project, is almost as equally as interesting and thrilling to the rest of us. someone has to be the pioneer and trend setter. I am convinced, that even if you hit the magic 300 HP number (someone was throwing that out there), that the car could be built to safely handle it (brakes, suspension, etc.), and you - the driver, could safely handle it. I drove a friend's Mustang that was built up to over 600 HP, and yes it was handful, but of course, you had to respect the power, and learn the limits with the car, but this would be true with any high HP car, common sense to me. You wouldn't just jump into a car like that, and got WOT without learning the car, least I wouldn't.
