GROUP BUY: UNICHIP Q and Q4

Kevin, I have a Unichip that I bought in December (new) from Unichip NA. It came with a low boost and high boost tune that is changeable by flipping a toggle-type switch. I prefer the high boost tune. I thought that the car was great until I installed the Unichip.............but, the Unichip really woke up the engine and made a tremendous difference. I have never driven or ridden in an Abarth with the EC/HPSI tunes so I can't compare the tunes but I'm very happy with the tune that I'm running. I'm happy to see that Unichip is developing more tunes but I'm really interested in the throttle booster software that they're going to offer in the Q4. I used to have a Go Pedal but it made the throttle too twitchy with the Unichip tune so the throttle booster would replace the sensitivity in the throttle that I used to have with the Go Pedal. It will be very interesting to see how the new tunes work. I do not want a handheld tuner (used to own one for another vehicle) so Unichip is my choice for more performance on my Abarth.

My adventure with UniChip continues as this is my first group buy experience I have arranged exclusively for this forum. I've been a loyal member and past moderator here as our members are the best. I hope to prove that I can provide all of you an unbiased opinion on future products even though I have strengthen my support for UniChip in passing on significant discounts to all of you. Due to my increased involvement with UniChip I did step down as moderator so that I could reduce any perception that this forum was taking sides.

Controversy is good sign that all of us are on a good thing for our cars. It pushes our forum vendors to deliver. I believe there is a market for a physically removable performance product such as the UniChip and the many flash tunes that are emerging. Unichip is a viable option for those that want to integrate a number of performance additions controlled by its tuning capabliities or just simply want added performance via a removeable module that leaves no footprint.
