There is no light for low coolant, so you need to keep an eye on it. A light means an overheat, and that is something you do not want to do.

I read an article about that on Fiat500 Usa a few days ago, I think. Did you check there?

I agree with you on the 6.5. Wish they would have at least tell me that I should upgrade or would I like to, because it seems like an irreversable process for what you have that's built at the factory. :|

I just bought a 2016 500x - 40,000 miles , 4cyl with 9 speed automatic fwd only - I am wondering can it be driven in the all weather mode transmission selection 100% of the time ?? -- I think it shifts better and I like that it eliminates first gear -- or is it like a 4wd truck and youre not suppose to use it during dry non-slippery conditions ?? Also is there any first year problems I should keep an eye out for ??

Hi, welcome to the forum. As you have FWD, there is no need to be concerned. Running the car in Traction + only affects the software. That mainly changes traction control and throttle changes. There also may be a change in power steering assist.

For others reading this, the All-Wheel-Drive system can be used on dry pavement without a problem. While I would imagine technically there would be some more wear on things compared to if the car was run in "Auto" mode, it may only matter if you keep the car a long time. I think the biggest impact would be a slight loss of fuel economy.

This article describes how the system works and what each mode does. http://www.fiat500usa.com/2016/01/fi...ve-system.html

There have been numerous software updates to enhance the drivability of the car. If you are having a concern you can get the software updates under warranty.
