    Depo gauge off calibration?

ATM- I have your boost gauge kit and the depo gauge reads -2mmHG when the engine is turned off. It should be 0 and the gauge is possibly out of calibration. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Thanks!

I may be wrong but I thought the Depo gauge does auto calibration.

Thanks Tweak that's correct the gauge auto calibrates to 0 when the vehicle is turned on!

I haven't paid close attention to the gauge itself but I thought when the car is idling it should be pulling vac right? So if it's reading 0 at idle there is something wrong. But yes full sweep style gauges should auto calibrate once power is applied to them.

I'm no car expert , but do have the same depo gauge and have never seen it at 0 when idle, always down around -24 for me without the AC on..

Hey guys the issue is when the engine is not running but there is still power going to the gauge. In accessory mode and after the engine is turned off

                  Mike,
When the car starts the gauge auto calibrates. It showing -2hg is such a small difference and won't affect ultimate boost level calibration. Certain barometric conditions can show as -2hg which is not equivalent to +2psi. Please take a video and I will forward it to depo USA as they ultimately warranty their gauges, we don't as we are not the manufacturer of the gauge.
-what does the gauge read at vacuum car started?
-what boost level does it peak at?
-Does this correspond to the tune you run?

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry, not sure why I kept saying the units in mmHG and not PSI. Vacuum is at -24 and peak boost is 23psi. I run the RRM V2 piggyback.

                    Here's the video:

-24 and +23 on that tune sounds like the gauge is calibrating correctly. However ill talk w depo and get their take on it, the gauge assembly is very simple just a sender and reciever so it's easy to diagnose!

My Depo Gauge has been going haywire the past couple of days. It looks like either the sender unit is off or the air filter could also be clogged.

I have the same issue, Depo gauge not reading zero when engine is off. (it worked fine for the first 3 months).... then it start getting to -1, -2, then -3.
Worst one is when I was up at Lake Tahoe (+6500ft elevation) i was getting -6. Now I'm back to -2 in the San Francisco Area (+100ft elevation)

My positive boost pressure seems to be reading correctly. +25psi peak, +21-22psi sustain. (w/ RRM U3 ECM) Even when I was up in Tahoe, i was getting about the same reading 25/22.
