Wow, That's rough. My dealer is 1.5 hours away, too. My schedule sux, so it is tough to get over there. They are great, but it is an all day affair.

I was hoping for the full bulletin 23-015-14 fixing the rear drips. No software involved in that one I am sure.
Amazed it has taken this long for them to come up with a solution.

Well I didn't say all of them were software update. The rest of that bulletin just tells you how to get to the washer nozzle, which is pretty self-explanatory. I covered the main point, gave the part number, plus the MDH info. That's all the juicy parts.

Has anyone had the update performed to improve the clock's speed? Does it work? How long did it take?

    Any insight appreciated.

anyone know how long ago the washer nozzle TSB was issued? When I called to schedule an appt they claimed they hadn't heard of it, and when i went to drop it off today he (the service manager) didn't know anything about it, so the head tech came and showed him the papers for it. But they didn't have the part in stock, said it was something new and they had never done it before, so they'll have to order the check valve. I thought it had been around for a while, so just wanted to check.

It is dated June 25, 2014. In my experience, many service writers are not familiar or up to date with service bulletins and they aren't enthusiasts who devour all technical information like most of us. That's one of the reasons I posted them. It may be that the bulletins are not easily accessible to them, but at least the technician knew of it so that's a good sign.

the technician at the dealership is awesome, the management is terrible. That said, this particular service manager, who is actually the manager of the dept was very good to me today. I've heard the owner himself is a total dick as well, but I haven't had to deal with him and don't expect to, as the car has otherwise been very reliable
