Lowered 2 Abarths today so might as well do some install notes to help you guys out. Both cars did Neuspeed springs on and my rear bumpstops. ANY TIME you do the rear lowering on these cars you should do my bumpstops. As you can see on the board they give a much better ride and when it does bottom out it gives you a much smoother feeling. If you have any questions feel free to ask I've been doing a lot of them and im sure I can help you with any questions.
So lets start with the kit
NORCAL SS Rear Bumpstops
You remove front struts and all you need is the zip off the top nut on the strut THERE IS NO PRESSURE TO WORRY ABOUT
Once you zip it off you are left with this
Take off oem bumpstop and put the new neuspeed bumpstop back on. MAKE SURE TO PUT THE METAL WASHER BACK ON THE SHAFT
Put the oem parts back on the spring (i would get new top hats)
Make sure you put the end of the spring on the lower perch in the pocket correctly
Put everything back on car and tighten it up
Now onto the rear. pop off lower shock bolts and lift car up and pull springs and oem bumpstops.
Here are my bumpstops vs stock
Get a 3/8 drill bit and find the hole that is already on the axle mount and drill it out
Put my bumpstop in and tighten with 9/16 socket
Spring and bumpstop installed
Final product. This car was on 215 40 17 tires. Front was 23 15/16 from ground to fenderlip and rear was 24 1/2 from ground to fenderlip. NOTE: Due to the rear upper isolators still being in place it will give you a little rake. The neuspeed upper coils are wrapped in tubing so if you want you do not have to install the upper isolators and rear will come down about 5/16s
