Sounds like this might be a great alternative to shelling out big bucks for a FMIC. I'll definitely be interested as long as it's cost effective.

$200 to $250 would be just about right I'm thinking.
I have no idea if this is doable, just what I think would make it sell like hotcakes.

This looks great, what I don't understand is I ask ATM about doing this 6 months ago, My point to them was not all of us can drop $700 on a FMIC, they responded that there were no gains to be made doing this ?

I guess technically there is no gain in HP/TQ to be made with this but rather the ability to sustain the max boost better by eliminating most of the boost leaks...

Theoretically, there should be a slight increase in power if there are no more leaks. No leaks means all that boost is now getting to the motor. Maybe good for a few hp/tq, but that's probably about it, quicker spooling, and a little sharper throttle response.

Don't want to hi-jack this, but I believe shadyabarth has a good idea, so here is MHO

If while designing this OEM replacement kit NORCAL SS can stop one hose segment where the Forge and Pogea FMIC leave 3 pieces of factory hose in place, I'm sure you would have a market for those. I too would buy that part, so all factory hoses on my FMIC were replaced. This should be quite easy to achieve while making a full OEM replacement kit. NORCAL SS may want to take a look at this, because if everyone with a Forge FMIC or Pogea FMIC are like shadyabarth and I that would be a nice bonus market to supply that hose, and it would just be a part number out of the OEM replacement kit is what I'm thinking, because you would have to segment the hoses at certain points anyway.
Anyway, if I was designing it, I would take that into consideration. Especially since the Forge FMIC and Pogea FMIC connect at the exact same place. The OEM hoses left with these kits may never be a problem, but I would buy the upgraded silicone in a second and think most people that bought these would do the same.

Me 2. I brought up new/better piping and possibly better twin cores. Was dismissed and told it's not worth it.
If people are driving around with boost leaks from day one, they don't know what they're missing. A leak free system reduces lag, and just plain runs/boosts better. This is why I say it's so important to learn how to pressurize the system and look for leaks.

Bigger, better twin SMICs would be nice as well. They make them for Audi, Porsche and a few others, they should make them for our Abarths as well. It looks like there could be some room in our bumpers for slightly thicker SMICs. I'd go for that!

Sorry for veering off topic, Tony.
