No, the hose that I am referring to is part of the stock setup that the FMIC hose connects to...

Have you thought of maybe relocating both side mounts to the front grill and reduce piping.

I just want to keep it simple. Oem replacement part that will make the oem system work better. I feel fiat had a good idea with mounting but these hoses leak which I feel needed to be addressed

boost will not fall off like it does stock. If you have seen the stock connections you understand that there is a problem with oem system

The stock intercooler piping connectors are so poorly designed that I am surprised that they even seal at all...

You will also build boost quicker without the leaks. And depending on how bad the leak, you should see a little higher peak boost.

I would be interested to see someone use a little UV dye and pressurize the system. I bet you break out the black light and you would see tons of leaks in the system. The difference in turbo performance between leaks and leak free is amazing. Boost comes on sooner, hits harder.

I'm very interested in this since I continuously have leak issues with the stock intercooler piping and don't plan on upgrading to a FMIC just yet. We have some nice heat here in North Alabama during the summer so anything that'll help out is welcome.

Even though I have just put down for an FMIC I support this project if you can keep it at a reasonable cost. Say it cost $300, you would be halfway to an FMIC. Just sayin.
