The connection at that side of the radiator is pretty solid, so if it's not the radiator itself then I imagine the coolant is running down the lower coolant...

Hello all, I recently acquired '13 Abarth and decided to join the forum.

There is no light for low coolant, so you need to keep an eye on it. A light means an overheat, and that is something you do not want to do.

I had another thread going with regards to the airbag error msg. Thought i would post here because I found Gharbeson thread most helpful. So the 2.2kohm resistors do indeed work for the SRS bags, but I am trying to decipher how the circuit for the occupancy mat works. I found a small clear plastic enclosure attached to the mat with a single 620ohm resistor inside measure with multimeter to confirm. Voltage from the main plug under the seat reads 5.25 volts. If I had to guess how the mat worked it would be like the horn in a car. Sitting on it makes the connection and sends a reduced voltage single via the resistor. But not so, the 620ohm reading I am getting from my multimeter is from the seat being completely disconnected from power.

Anybody else care to take a stab?

Basically should be the same thing youd do for the side airbags. Measure the resistance sitting in the seat. That should be the total resistance the system wants to see in order to ready state the airbag. Shouldnt really have to sit in it even. Just leaning on it with your hand should be enough pressure but sitting on the seat is the safest bet.

Measured resistance while sitting on cushion is 13.6 to 14 ohms. Next step try something, I just need to track down the resistor.

Or use a low resistance potentiometer so you can easily vary resistance until it works properly. Then measure and get the proper real resistor.

Well after scouring the internet I manged to find a place that had every resistor under the rainbow with no minimums. I ordered a few different variations to try for the seat pad. I 'll let you guys know should be here by Monday.

Let me know what the eventual value turns out to be. When I need a resistor, I buy the 100-pack for a couple dollars rather than pay $0.10 each, and might have what you're looking for, or might be able to make the correct combo.

Mini update I thought the 2.2k ohm resistors were working for the SRS like Gharbeson had said, but I actually needed 2.4k ohm. After plugging in my passenger seat temporarily for the occupancy mat I realized they were not functioning as they should. A quick multimeter test showed 2.4. Swapped them out with the passenger seat hooked up no lights. Now I just neeed to wait for the other resistors to work on the mat. I am beginning to wonder just like the ecu issues ppl have with piggys that each car although built to spec is a little bit different.
