100 OCTANE IS MOST id go. I have leaded 110 but not doing that lol. 99 percent of the people arent going do to e85 and change injectors and void warranty. Im trying to keep the mods to what works well and keeps warranty.

I think the unichip has the custom tunes already out for mods.

I might be wrong but I don't think the unichip will "see" higher octane.
That doesn't mean they can't come out with a race tune that anticipates 100 octane.
The unichip is still relying on the factory tune for its base, and then manipulating that data in real time, so it would need to expect 100 octane fule in a dedicated tune, no?

ill see how the road race reacts. It says minimum 91 octane so I can see 93 being better and maybe 100 will be good. This is why im testing all this stuff. No one really has answers or dyno plots.

    Tony,

Found out about some 100 octane (over $10 a gallon) here on island. I need to drain some of the 92 I have sitting in the tank now (about 3 bars, which equates to a few 1-3 pulls) and I think ill take my try on adding some. My car didn't put the power down like yours did, and I owe that to the humidity, SMICs, temp, and lackluster fans in the shop where it was done but she still moves out compared to pre-tune. I feel there is more in there than what was shown.

I wont dyno mine with the 100...just butt dynos, haha.

yah out here 100 at pump is 7.39 a gallon. Just filled up my ctsv today... again lol. What i plan to do is have like 1/4 tank and then put in 5 gallons of 100 see what happens.

Isn't the common thinking that the ECU has torque limits built in that are lower than the numbers you achieved in your dyno runs? If so, how do you think you managed to exceed them? Has the power maintained at that level since your dyno runs?

Dont know about torque limits because my car just keeps making power. 82whp over stock.

I need to reset ecu snd drive 100 miles then do another dyno to see whats happening

$18 a gallon for 100 octane here so I obviously back out of that one with some quickness. I ended up buying a tank of ethanol free 87 and am averaging 36.2 MPG so far!

Impressive Tony. The fact that these little cars are so willing to make power is almost comical. It's like the engineers that built them knew what they were doing.

They should have done a better exhaust set. The oem downpipe flows great just the exit kills it.........well that was the case until I came around.
