I didn't try the spaghetti, but the bbq was pretty good Sat nite. I would like to not repeat the $19 sandwich from Friday lunch tho, as I discussed with the two others helping coordinate the event (really bad with names, sorry.....) we could do a picnic lunch; as in have one of them or whomever stop by Subway/IGA and pick up our lunch $5/6 ea and us have a picnic lunch at Deals Gap or Fontana Dam, or something to that effect. I dont wanna organize it, just my suggestion.

Just trying to throw a few options out there, overall I would give the experience a 7/10, there were a few things I was sort of expecting to be different.

Last objection and then I will stop my complaining - on the runs we need to sort out smaller groups. Like 10-15, not 34 and 55 some odd. Makes it difficult to keep up when we get separated, like the Devils Triangle ordeal, separated 4 times getting there...

As I said, overall I liked the event and will return; I'm done complaining about my first world problems now.

The spaghetti was a good inexpensive meal to help offset the $19 lunch that Fontana raped us with. Having a group as large as ours requires that we either pack our own lunch or do a group thing like we did with Fontana and Rugby. I have dealt with Fontana on other events in the past and it always starts getting expensive. We stayed there at the last fall event and had some problems with our room too. I am ok making excuses for a $79 room but if I am paying $129 per night, it better be decent (it was not). The local IGA will do pack lunches for our group for $5-6 so that might actually be an option for the future. It would require everyone bring a cooler and manage their own food though.

Good suggestions and we will have some growing pains. I know that despite charging a fee this year, I still went in the hole a little. No big deal as I was not doing it to get rich but I will need to find a good balance if I want to continue doing it.

I plan to meet with Tom and Donna soon about the event and make plans for next year. Please send me your thoughts, good AND bad to my personal email at brett67 at comcast.net and I will seriously consider all points. Fun is the name of this game and as long as it stays fun, I keep doing it.

I do plan to do smaller groups of cars for the next event. I also plan to have maps that people can download and keep with them. I am going to have points to meet up and refer to on the maps and people will be responsible for getting to each check point. Usually there is a goal or destination that we can congregate as larger groups along the way. I would love to get a video of 100 FIATs leaving the tally Ho though. We could block traffic and do it.

Hey the worst that happened is one shredded tire two made bald and a cracked windshield. (I hope thats all)
That makes up for a few bugs and was a huge success over all IMHO.
Thanks again for the effort from Brett and crew and let the above be the worst for many years to come.

    Venders?

Howdy Mr. Brett, you had mentioned that you might have some vendors at the next one? I told the pinstripe artist who did my car about the future FOTD and he seems to be very interested in being a possible vendor. What do you think? Think other's would be interested? He does vinyl and custom pinstripeing, he could set up. Just want to get your opinion as well as others on here. If anyone would be interested. Thanks

That'd be great, I know Chris (EC) wants to be there and I assume Mikah (AAD) and Anthony (ATM) will join us again.

One Abarth from FL got battle scars, they didn't see curb during night dragon run. Sorry guys forgot your names. I'm bad with memorizing names.

I know that most ladies loved that pinsriping. I liked it too, but probably will not consider it. To old school for me

Unfortunately that was me... I got a quote and I'm gonna fix it in the next couple of weeks. I still had a blast on that night run!
