Fiat 500L TSB 08-031-14- RA3 Radio Software Enhancements
There is a new Fiat 500L Tech Bulletin out that updates the RA3 Radio's software. If you have one of the conditions listed below, the following software update may take care of the issue. Hint: write down the tech bulletin number and give it to your dealer because the service writer may not know about this.

SUBJECT:
Flash: RA3 Radio Software Enhancements
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves updating the radio's software.
MODELS:
2014 (BF) 500L Radio
NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with UConnect 6.5 AM/FM/BT/Voice
(sales code RA3) built on or before January 08, 2014 (MDH 0108XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The 500L owner may notice one or more of the following.
· Radio resets.
· Radio sluggish performance.
· Bluetooth dropped connections.
· Hands free calling poor sounding.
· Navigation GPS off location.
· No GPS intermittently and off location.
· Voice recognition poor.· ** Sirius Satellite soft key (SAT button) on a vehicle that is not equipped with Sirius Satellite
** Vehicles equipped with SDARS (Satellite) and No SDARS (No Satellite) may have a fast reset condition of the radio while the navigation system is active.**
DIAGNOSIS:
If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair. For all other
customers that describe the symptom/condition, perform the Repair Procedure.
