Woo hoo! 1957 Edition in transit to Austin!

Went over to Austin Fiat to look at the Sports with the Avorio interior again. Checked the Lounges after that. And there is a 1957 Edition on it's way, in the Celeste color!!!

I don't know if the car will get pictures, or if it's sold before it gets there. But if you're looking for one of the 1957 Edition cars, they should be coming to your dealer soon. They'll be in with the Lounges. In the case of the Verde Chiaro or Bianco 1957 Edition, you may need to check the window sticker to be sure .

Yes, it would be. You know, if everyone chips in, and gets me a nice little shack in Austin and gifts me an original 500 parked in the garage waiting, I wouldn't object.

Those look fun, but I want to give you some feedback on the TomTom: don't lust for it and don't bother. Our 500e comes with the TomTom and I've updated it, tweaked all the settings to optimize it...and then stashed it: it's super slow and the navigation routes it picks are insane. Compared to our ten-year old Garmin and the updated Honda/Acura system onboard our other car, the differences are glaring. The TomTom is slower than both and the routes are terrible.

Okay, so if you can save a few bucks, ditch the TomTom and put on a CAI, right?

Apparently Austin residents already have access unlimited money, judging by the prices. I tried to find a small house under 1,000 feet on Trulia. There weren't many. A mobile home on land cost $150,000. Not a ranch lot, just a smallish lot. Ridiculous. Not that I was planning on actually moving to Austin, but just in case everyone did decide to chip in, I wanted to make a thrifty choice.

I dream big. Yet thrifty. You want a Mediterranean villa, I'll take the 700 sq ft cottage.
