    6/12/14 Dyno session #5 Results

I'm keeping this in my vendor section due to the fact I can edit it much easier.

    DYNO SESSION #1 12/7/13

    Mods are
    Road Race Intake
    ATM FMIC
Ported 2.5 exit on oem downpipe
2.5 inch cat back custom magnaflow

I did 2 pulls with the car with above mods and 91 octane gas and hood closed. Coolent temp on both passes was from 160-162 and air intake on both passes 89-90. I kept it very consistant
    SAE NUMBER
    Best HP 183.2
    Best TQ 188.2

I then installed the New Road Race Ultimate box. I will be doing another dyno session to test the "80 mile" required driving before getting on it and seeing if it will make more power next Saturday.

    Coolent temps from 160-164
    Air intake temps from 89-90
    SAE NUMBERS
    BEST HP 197.2
    BEST TQ 208.0

The car does feel faster no doubt about that. I will now reset the battery in the morning and drive 100 miles before next Saturday. Stay under 4k and whats good in san francisco we have hills and all that so will be not only flat roads on so called "learning phase"

    oh yah video

    DYNO SESSION #2 12/14/13

Car was hotter on the dyno and Well we are stumped. Car temp coolent was 189 vs 160 last week and get this we lost 10 hp but gained 25 tq. 187.8 hp and best was 229.4 tq. Im wondering if when coolent temps gets higher has something to do with hp loss but major torque gained? I wanted to keep the temps up to normal which is what we all see from day to day driving. I will keep the temps the same for the rest of my pulls which is 185-195 normal operating temps because no use having such low operating temps since not typical of what normal street driving sees.

    Heres the sheet

First pass we saw 180/218 and last week was 197/208 so we decided to do another pass and saw 187/225. Still down 10hp but up 17tq so did another pass 183/229tq. WTF hp going down but tq keeps going up??? car was getting warm and did 2 more and hp went down more and torque was still better but down. We then decided to pull ecu and do a reset and see what happens. hp was about the same 175 but torque went down to 204. So I pretty much said thats enough of the road race box lets move onto the Madness older version.

So put in the ORIGINAL TMC UNIT and runs 2/3/4/5 are the ORIGINAL TMC UNIT and run 1 was the road race.
Run 2 was setting 6 on the tmc
run 3 was setting 7 on the tmc
run 4 was setting 8 on the tmc
run 5 was setting 9 on the tmc
From what we saw the tmc 8 and 9 was getting close results to the road race ultimate.

I will be resetting the ecu and drive 100 miles in non sport mode and under 4k rpms and then I will scedule another dyno session just to see how the mm box does also.

    DYNO #3 UPDATE 2/1/14
well the NEW MADNESS unit is good!!

So got to the shop early this morning and remember ive had the tmc unit in for about 300 miles now so fully broken in. Did a few passes with it on setting 9 and go from 190-194 hp and 215-219 torque. one thing we noticed on the dyno is that the original tmc unit was very jumpy. So put in the new madness unit with cam sensor and first pass got 204 hp and 224 torque.

We ended up getting 207.4 hp and 227.1 torque out of the new madness box
and ended up gettign 194.7 hp and 219.4 torque out the old tmc unit.
    BOTH AT SETTING 9

You will notice that the new madness unit carrys power longer and smoother vs the original tmc box and driving it home I noticed the same. I will reset the ecu and then drive 100 miles at low rpms and then schedule another dyno day to see how it does. My plan is also do get the new road race box and do another test so i will have the road race vs the madness new box on the same day. So far the car feels the fastest on the madness new box vs the old tmc and vs the road race v3 ultimate.

    DYNO SESSION #4 5/29/14

WELL just got off the dyno. Long night of testing the car and here go the results. WE HAVE A NEW RECORD 212.7 HP AND 234.9 TQ (had 237.8 tq but i deleted the run)

So lets start off. The shop was 70-71 vs high 50s last time. IAT was about 15-20 warmer then last time. But we had both boxes and testing it out both same day so should be good.

So to refresh I have the 3 wire madness box. made 202/231 best today. But some runs were inconsistant. Would jump back and fourth but here are the 3 solid runs

Then I took off the 3 wire madness box and put on the road race ultimate with no street time and just kept on getting better and better. First pass was 202/228. then did a few more runs and car started to get a little warmer but still made great power as you can see by the sheet

    Few notes
Average hp was high 150s and low 190s on tq for the 3 wire madness

average hp was mid 160s and high 190s for the road race set up

You can see that the road race torque comes in little earlier and also

Whats in the works next TONY???????? Well I will tell you....

Reset the computer and drive 80 miles under 4k. Then do another dyno run to see difference....BUTTTTTTTTTTTT after we are done im adding 100 octane to the mix to see what exactly happens when doing this.

    STAY TUNEDDDDDDDDDD

    DYNO SESSION #5 6/12/14
Car made 224 hp and 231 tq best today. We did about 10 passes. Going to order the UNICHIP next and dyno it. RACE GAS put 100 in there made no real difference on power. Car makes great power across the board so now the question is how much of a difference will unichip make
