Yeah, I think they should have gone solid roof-color sunroof for this model because of the white roof in the rear.

I think it would sell too, because some folks would take a sunroof if it wasn't glass. No glare, no sun sneaking in, in those hot climates. With vent available, and then the roof can be opened with or without the shade drawn.

I saw the weather for Phoenix the other day, it was in the 100s. You don't want a glass roof in 100 degrees. A white roof would help keep it cool during the day, even with other body colors. And then open it up after it becomes pleasant when the sun has gone down.

I don't think I like the white mirror caps either if the front of the roof isn't white.

There's something weird about those photos, the way it distorts the car, especially the second picture. The one of the front end. It looks lopsided. LOL

So, what do you think about it? I like your red mirror caps and red accent wheel center caps for an accent more than the white covers on the mirrors.

You're right, the mirrors are chrome, not white. I didn't catch it. Weird! Could be a dealer installed option?

I also don't like the glass sunroof. I think it should have been metal painted white. The dark glass breaks up the white roof motif and it does make the white mirrors look odd. Not a smart move imo. I like the car much better without the sunroof.

I just wish FIAT would have offered the 1957 Edition in the Cabrio. The exterior in Celeste or Verde Chiaro with a white top & mirrors, and the exterior in white with a Celeste or Verde Chiaro top & mirrors.

    The interior looks very nice.

The glass sunroof worked best on the Cattiva. It already had a black roof.

They could have done the glass roof with a white surround.

And I'd love a white or ivory (same color as the interior steering wheel, not the beige) convertible roof.

Maybe they'll get around to it eventually.

I was just browsing at the 2015 FIAT 500 models when I came upon this:

Apparently the 1957 Edition has been extended to the 2015 Lounge models, with the new display. Very interesting!

    Oooh! Good find!

They're calling the new display "Premium 7-Inch Color Cluster Display"? Yes?

I hope they keep the 1957 Edition around indefinitely. The wheels are the best wheels they've come up with, in my opinion, for the Lounge. I'd like to see them optional on the Pop and Lounge, without needing to do the whole 1957 Edition.

I'd like to see them use the ivory door panels in any of the vehicles that have the ivory ambiance. So that your car and mine would have come with the ivory door panel. And I'd like to see them come up with a little something for the back sides, even an ivory speaker cover might be neat. Kind of goes with the round headrests we have.

While I like my brown interior, I'd like to see the red interior offered up too, with the ivory panels. With red wheels. For the whole red/ivory interior experience. And it would be there that I'd want to introduce a 500c 1957 Edition, with an IVORY convertible roof. Ivory, as in "matches the interior ambiance"). I might even add Ivory as a paint color. And ditch the Pearl White. I definitely prefer an ivory glossy non-metallic, non-pearl paint. Although I'd probably be in the minority with that one.

Keep an eye out to see if the 1957 Edition is offered in at least Italy. There was talk awhile back about exporting the US version to Italy, because the color combination is sooooo right. The style, the design, the whole feel is exactly what is loved.

I'm still thinking Fiat underestimates the appeal of retro. They DID as far as renaming the color "Retro Light Blue". I don't believe they used the word "Retro" previously.

The 1957, on our studio lot, is a hardtop, with a white roof, and white mirrors.

I would love to see a 1957 Edition for the 500c as well, with the ivory top. That in Celeste or Verde Chiaro would be lovely. I also dig those wheels.

I was lucky enough to see a White one up close and personal 2 weeks ago and it was pretty cool, I would definitely have one of these in my dream garage/warehouse... All the accents on it really made it Pop. I loved the wheels on it, and agree they should be made optional on other models...Hope to see one on the road soon...

I would want the 1957 Edition as a 500c with a tan/brown top (like the original) and think that would definatly a woodgrain dash panel vs the white. The show car had a very light woodgrain dash panel. That would be my ideal 57 edition
