The yellow and blue springs are MUCH weaker than the green spring and testing each of them, I found the blue spring to be comparable to the OEM in both stiffness and function. I am getting my boost readings from an actual boost gauge in the ATM offering.
The green is the weakest. I just did the swap this weekend. The coil of the yellow is visibly thicker than the green and holds boost much better. I use an AutoMeter boost gauge.

Then you have very different springs from me. The green is MASSIVE compared to the other two. I bought my actuator directly from Forge probably 3-4 months ago and it was the last one they had. It was actually one they used for test fitting. At that time they didn't have any idea if/when they would get more in. I believe Gigante experienced the same as me with the sizes of the springs.

I'm not spring engineer, lol, but in that pic it almost looks like the green is for a different application altogether based on it's shape?
There are a few variables that could lend to this possibility:
    * There are two different size and shape WGA's available from Forge for our 1.4L Multiair.. both have been sold into the market. One has the top-mounted nipple, one has a side-mounted nipple. The primary functional difference is the bigger one (the one i have) can hold more boost if needed down the road. But that is not a factor as EITHER of them can hold enough boost for our application even when we push high boost and have software tunes, etc. BUT, perhaps the springs or spring applications differ between the two?

    * They have springs for the BOV as well as the WGA...perhaps you were sent one for the BOV vice the WGA? i haven't compared both side by side as I never looked at the one in my WGA when I got it.... but just thinking out loud here.

BTW, which of the two WGA's are each of you running? (Big vs. Smaller)

I am pretty sure only one type is on the market which is the nipple mounted on the back in-line with the arm. I think there was only one side mounted and that was on the test car. I remember reading something about when the office in Orlando got them from Forge UK they were all like the one I have. I actually go to Forge in person as they aren't far from me and are actually right next door to a place I go on a regular basis. The green spring fits and seats into the actuator the best as well. My actuator is quite large.

This is the T-jet model - side mounted nipple and smaller:

and this is what I have:

I have the same (larger) one you do as well.. though there are some others that have received the smaller one besides the test-car person.
So how does the green spring perform for you? My box for the WGA looks like this... supposedly the green dot is the spring that shipped with it. Same for you?

I didn't even get a box with mine, I think it was literally just sitting in a drawer in one of the guy's desks. I'm wondering if some T-jet actuators didn't make their way onto our market because I agree, the springs are nothing alike and I was surprised when I popped my actuator open for the first time to see the difference. The green spring is optimal in my opinion. Boost peaks and holds higher than with anything else I have tried with no evidence of creep.

Since you are running the RRM ULtimate and FMIC, etc. we have similar set-ups, etc.. I think I'm going to pop mine open to see what spring i have ...both in shape AND color. So in the picture you posted above, the green spring in the middle is the one you've landed on as optimal? Hoping that's the same one I have.... (ref: green dot on my box label, lol) Thanks!

Yes, the green spring I have blows away both the yellow and blue springs I bought from Forge in terms of fitment and performance. I'm wondering if maybe there wasn't a mix up in what the US office got from the UK. Maybe the springs I got are for the T-jet actuator since technically, our actuators are for the Punto Evo, a car unavailable in the states.

I think we've arrived on the same conclusion/supposition there... although... it also begs the question... I wonder what a properly-shaped yellow spring might feel like? ;-) #thesagacontinues

I would ship those springs back and ask for the 'right' ones that are shaped like the green ones. I bet Forge would be Ok with that request.

btw, any tips on how to get into the actuator to check /change the spring?
