1/4 mile is very driver dependent. Just another variable there's also elevation and other environment variables to consider.

You calling me a ****ty driver? lol. Both times I couldn't do better than a 2.3 60ft, that was highly do to the stock 16" tires, they have nothing more, i tried and tried. they were done at separate times so temperature played a role. However the intake did bump me 2mph more and dropped a full tenth of a second granted also have the TB and axle-back, doubt the axle-back did much to help but just wanted it to be noted.

Compared to some other VAG cars I've tuned in the past...at least the Abarth doesn't get that crazy ass wheel hop like my 337 did. One time i cracked the wheel liner from the tire hopping so much it banged it so hard. i stopped trying to go fast in that car after that, and wasn't about to drop coin into a diff after the car had 110,000 on it.

I don't have enough experience yet with the ZIIs (200 TW, BTW) to launch well but I think about a 3k rpm drop will do the job, depending on surface grip, temp, etc. The stock Pirellis were easy to smoke with a 2.5k launch. Need to settle down and get some science behind my launches... :-\

Your right 3k is the money, ride the clutch a bit and your solid. anything less BOGG anything more BOGG.

Of course not mate! I hear you on the stock 16's they're utterly useless after the first 5k for anything more than puttering along.

Went to the track last night and all I could muster was 15.7. I could not launch the dam thing, I would get the rpm around 3000 pop the clutch and bog. I try at 4000 wheel hop like crazy.

Mods: boomba check valve, ec v2 intake.

Like LittleEvil said, you can't "pop" the clutch, have to feather it out. Which is why drag racers rebuild the clutches every week

Shouldn't get hop on these cars.
Even with 215/40/17 and 140 tread wear
No hop here even with clutch drop racer boy starts and laying down tracks to 2nd.
