Question replacing the read cargo cover

I'm not sure what it's called, so I'm having no luck finding it online, but the removable piece that hides the cargo area in my car has got bent out of shape, and I'd like to replace it. (the part that you'd normally remove to fold down the back seat). Any idea what that part is called & what the replacement cost is? This is for a 2012 500 Sport, in case that makes any difference.

    Thanks!

I think it is called cargo cover. I am fairly certain the dealer price is shy of $50 bucks. A co-worker of mine (who bought a 500 shortly after driving mine) had his replaced for the same reason. His son cracked it when he placed his sports equipment on it. Kids - what can you do.

When i got my car it was cracked already. Dealer just took another one off a car on the lot. $50 for something that is just cardboard is pretty outrageous.. But then again it is from a car dealer. If any aftermarket company wants to make one from fiber glass or some kind of hard composite they will get my cash very quickly

Agreed^^^ Even more outrageous is the aftermarket cover above for $149. It just has a piece of leather glued to the top of the cover only.

For what it is worth, it is called a Parcel Shelf although I can't imagine it holding any parcels...but I did see someone place a bowling ball it and no breakage. Probably not a bad idea to tuck some bracing on the underside if you have one that isn't broken and you are concerned it might break.

Mopar Online has it listed as a 'cargo cover' but it does not show the part as available.

    1) suggestion: post an ad in the 'want to buy' section of this forum; there may be a member modding their car that would sell you one. Some of the members, I have seen, remove the rear seat. So no need for the cargo part.

    2) call pick and pull (junkyard): you may be able to just visit and pull one off a wreck

In my observation I have found that it isn't really the cargo cover that is so delicate as the extremely bendy plastic mounting points!
