    Madness/BMC intake review and dyno.

So a couple weeks ago, I tested out the new intake from madness. I fell in love with the piece. I know a lot of forum members our interested to know if this intake performes, well it does, very well if I may add.We did a before and after dyno, within an hour apart. The intake was installed right on the dyno. Everything fit perfectly. When we did the first dyno pull I was a bit concerned, it was so quite in comparison to other intakes, I was doubtful then i looked at the results of the pull and had a huge smile lol "it works". It was a really humid day. I had originally baselined my car about 4 months ago and had made more power. Regardless the results of the before and after spoke for themselves. We did a few pulls and almost consistently pulled 12whp and 12wtrq (135/147whp, 142/154wtrq) and really pulls hard up top. After driving with the intake on for a few hundred miles now I am starting to notice a little BOV flutter and a little bit of the suction sound but all in all its still very very very quite. I have to say I am really happy with the results, its only gotten better the more its broken in.

This looks like a nice option. All closed, looks great and gives a real performance boost. Are you able to install the engine cover with this?

I was waiting for a member or Madness to post something on this. Thanks for taking the initiative. Similar closed loop concept like the Sila CAI, but more refined, better design and materials, and of course, more expensive. If I got this system, I would add the HP Performance short ram silicone boot to replace the OEM plastic section.

Thanks for doing this LittleEvil! I like this intake because I'm not a big fan of the flutter (fuff fuff fuff) sound all the others have so much of.

What other mods do you have on your car?
