Please provide OPTION to turn OFF the remote key horn beep

Oh yes. That one I've experienced a few times. :)

I really wish they'd offer a firmware update for the dashboard to turn off the locking horn beep. The lights flashing is bad enough. :(

This didn't work for me. How quick do I press lock the 2nd time? I did it in quick succession. As soon I as close the door, it honks.

I did "one mississippi, two mississippi"...pedantic and methodical. Then shut the door. No honk. However, as I'd stated it did not set the alarm.

I guess not having the beep may be worth locking it manually without the alarm getting set, just to keep the neighbors happy. Their bedroom is directly next to my parking spot. signwerd

Dang, was hoping this worked. Like cmj stated, locks with no horn but no alarm arm either. :dispirited: Im a very paranoid person having a car almost broken into once before, so Ill deal with the horn honk to have the alarm still activate. Hopefully they come up with an update to be able to turn it off and still arm the system.

I have a 2012 500 pop. Just helped my mother get a 2013 500 pop. Her alarm has one beep on arm and no beeps on disarm. Started checking and got the right answer from the third party alarm installer at Fiat service. It seems that all Phoenix Fiats have a third party alarm system. I imagine many other Fiats around the country have the same system.

The control is under the dash, right above your left knee. It looks like a very small indicator light. There is a button underneath. He gave me a manual:

I don't think us California 500e's have what you are describing (see attached photo of the left underside the dash on my car). I wish we did- that horn drives me CRAZY every time I have to lock the car.

There must be someone on this forum that can figure out how to fix this stupid feature, wether it be through a hidden setting in the computer system or a physical fix! Help! :cussing:

I have a 2012 500 pop and it doesn't beep. I have had her about 4 months now.... odd I would like the beep I have to stop and look to be sure that my doors locked due to not having a beep.
