fiat 500 Abarth oil filter retainer clip

Did you use a socket to take the plastic filter housing off? A six point socket would be best to keep from damaging it. Is the aluminum part from Fiat?

Is the new 1.3 Fiat Turbo engine basically the same as our 1.4?

I think the 500 only received the 1L Firefly engine in their hybrid model in the Euro market. The Abarth, and all non-hybrid 500's, still have the 1.4L
