Been having issues with a P0440 going on and off on my 2013 T and it seemed to coincide with fillups so I decided to replace the fuel cap. Put one on today and went to clear the obd code. When I checked it, it now has a P0520 engine oil pressure sensor/switch circuit. I dont drive this car much so it sits for a few weeks at a time. Ive maybe put 1500 miles on it this year. Total mileage is 57k so its closing in on a second spark plug change. I noticed the car seems to be idling a lil funny and sounded different. The exhaust had a muffled put-put sound like it was backfiring and when I first touched the throttle, the engine shook slightly and sounded like it was misfiring and then smoothed out and revved fine. So first, Im wondering if the funky running issue has anything to do with the P0520 code or is it just a sign of spark plugs wearing out (surprising since they arent 30k old yet). Second, does getting this code automatically mean I need a new sensor or is it more likely to be a wiring/connection issue OR could it have something to do with my RRM piggyback tuner? The exclamation point is still lit though the check engine light is currently off.

Hey guys, I got a 2013 Turbo and I need verification on a part number for the shifter cap. This is the gray painted cap on the top of the shifter with red lines for the H pattern. It’s all scratched up and looks like crap so I’d like to replace it. I just want to make sure the Abarth and T used the same cap or does it vary on the model? I did a google search and came up with this :
4670643AA. Is this the correct number and are they all the same? I was concerned because it lists the Pop as well and it’s knob is completely different from the Abarth/T. Also, does it just pry off and pop back into place? No glue necessary? Thanks!

My 2017 Abarth is my daily driver, its the best hot hatch Ive ever owned, a definite keeper. Yet the youtube reviews have revealed the 2023 FIAT 500e EV to be an exceptional tempting vehicle. I hope the powers to be at FIAT monitor our blog for insight on what the FIAT loyalists are thinking. The 500e would be a success here as it is in Germany.

What are your thoughts on FIAT coming back with the 500e?

The video speaks for itself, accelerating away from a traffic jam at normal pace, as soon as I hit boost in 2nd, it rattled like crazy, into 3rd, again. It is still doing it now but not as loud. I am now terrified of driving this car. Its a 2017 with 25,000 miles. Eurocompulsion Phase 0, since 9,750 miles and no issues, however I am on the stock diverter valve and I think its sticking. I have the V3 induction pipe from EC and that magnifies a brief compressor surge when I let off the gas sometimes in boost. I dont know if its related, but I dont want to end up with a blown engine and have parked the car.

Please tell me somebody knows what that noise was, most of the time when I hit boost it does that noise but quieter now.

Engine CAD rendering? http://www.fiat500usaforum.com/showthread.php?39568-Engine-CAD-rendering&goto=newpost Sat, 06 Aug 2022 03:13:53 GMT
While looking for answer to a problem I am having, a gentleman on youtube who makes videos told me that he believes "a couple of the forums have a nice cad rendering of the back of the engine with the evap parts highlighted".

If anybody has heard about this, let me know where I can find those renderings. They would really help me out, as the used 2015 Abarth I bought is missing some of those evap components and I would like to return the car to stock configuration.
